Training in the use of our “Wazer” waterjet cutting machine.
The Wazer is the first “desktop” waterjet cutting machine. The principle of waterjet cutting is simple: water is projected at very high pressure, to which an abrasive agent (garnet sand) is added. The abrasive agent, carried by the power of the high-pressure jet, will reach a speed of Mach 2.5 (2.5 x the speed of sound) and thus enable the cutting of very hard elements such as stone, glass, steel, etc.
Organisation
- Max. number of participants: 4
- Duration: 2 h
- Level: beginner
- Required equipment: none

The Design Thinking workshop immerses you in a user-centred method of innovation. This technique – developed at Stanford University and adopted throughout Silicon Valley – approaches problems by understanding users and their needs. The information collected and analysed becomes the basis for an ideation session aimed at finding first solutions to challenges.
A prototype is then produced and compared with user opinion.
This process then leads to a definitive solution that meets an identified need.
The workshop is illustrated by concrete examples from facilitators who have developed their products using this particular technique.
Organisation
- Max. number of participants: 8
- Duration: 1/2 day
- Level: beginner
