Florent Di Bartolo, Lecturer in Digital Arts and Technologies at Université Gustave Eiffel, regularly produces materials for art projects.
At the beginning of 2022, he exhibited the engravings on plexiglass made in the Fablab: he recreated a 3D shape from the accumulation of lines of different thicknesses on plates placed one on top of the other. La Grande Accélération (Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental, Orsay) is a visual and sound installation on the evolution of the melting ice. It offers a sensitive experience of climate change.
With the support of: Université Paris-Saclay, Diagonale Paris-Saclay, Scène de recherche de l’ENS Paris-Saclay and Fablab Descartes.
Musical composition: Xavier Hautbois
